Sara Emilia is a 22-year-old singer-songwriter and pianist who makes sensitive melancholic music. Her debut album Pain, released in 2024 under the stage name R.O.S.E, was a stripped-down whole arranged for piano and vocals only. The sensitive and ballad-like Light EP released the following year brought more power to the production. Now accompanied by a new stage name, the Just a little longer single released on May 8th opened the doors to a new, heavier style, hinting at the artist’s next musical direction.
The artist’s new production boldly combines soft metal with rock and alt pop. Sara Emilia’s English-language songs stem from her own life experiences colored by depression. Her music deals with sensitivity, mental vulnerability and growth – accepting imperfection and finding hope in the midst of difficulties. It is important for the artist to offer the listener a place to identify and support – the same thing she herself has found in music. Her dark songs always contain a glimmer of light and hope. Sara Emilia is a master at turning dark thoughts into something beautiful!
