Fanzone Finland’s customer, marketing and website analytics register.

3. Purpose and Legal Basis for Processing Personal Data

We process personal data for the following purposes:

  • sending newsletters and marketing communications

  • communicating with customers and website users

  • improving the functionality and user experience of the website

  • analysing visitor numbers and marketing performance through Google Analytics

The legal bases for processing are:

  • consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)) for newsletters and cookies

  • legitimate interest (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) for essential cookies and security log data

4. Data Content of the Register

We collect and store the following information:

Information provided by the user

  • email address

Information collected through cookies and analytics

Google Analytics may collect, for example:

  • IP address (anonymised / IP masking enabled)

  • device information, such as mobile or desktop device

  • page views and user behaviour on the website

  • Marketing data, such as name and email address, is stored for as long as the user remains a subscriber.

  • Cookie data is stored according to the user’s browser settings, typically for 1–24 months.

  • Analytics data is stored according to the settings of Google Analytics, generally for 14 months.

7. Disclosure and Transfer of Data

Personal data is not disclosed to third parties for commercial purposes.

Data may be transferred to service providers, such as:

  • Google Analytics

  • newsletter service Brevo

  • website hosting provider

If data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, for example to Google LLC in the United States, the transfers are carried out in accordance with safeguards approved by the EU, such as the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC).
